Shopping Spree documents the relationship between the intentions of the American consumer and the social construct established by fashion restraints, expression, status, and identity. The series takes place within Scottsdale Fashion Square, the largest shopping mall in the American Southwest. It is also one of the most profitable malls in the United States.
