Through still evenings in local bars, dusty rodeo arenas, sun-soaked parades, and weatherworn gatherings, this body of work traces the heart lines of rural communities living close to the land and each other. Elevated in its simplicity, rich in tradition, and grounded in place. The High Country, where time lingers and stories are passed hand to hand like well-worn tools.

This Saturday, April 19 from 4pm to 8pm, meet and mingle with AZPA member artists whose work will be on display! Art will be displayed from April 19 to May 16.

This year’s independent juror, Dr. Rebecca Senf will evaluate our exhibition and select the following awards:

1st Place: Juror’s Award of Distinction *opportunity to give a short talk at the Closing Reception

2nd Place: Juror’s Special Recognition Award

3rd Place: Juror’s Recognition Award

All awards will be revealed at the Opening Reception.

Join us for an exciting photography exhibition presented by Studio at Wilson, celebrating the grand opening of their location. This special event features the captivating works of film photographers Christian Marcum and Nick Weeber, both focusing on the profound influence of lowrider culture within the Arizona community. Experience the BTS world of Arizona's most influential lowrider club, The Sophisticated Few and renowned Pinstriper & Painter Bugs, through the unique perspectives of Marcum and Weeber, whose stunning 35mm film photographs capture the artistry, pride, and spirit of this enduring cultural movement. The grand opening event will also include food from South Phoenix's very own Que Suave Tacos. Music & vibes will be facilitated by vinyl spinner DJ Isha Boi with a vibrant lowrider show featuring cars from the artists' projects including the Phoenix Suns' 1957 Chevy Belair. Don't miss this celebration of culture, community, and creativity!
